Dr. Patrick Stagg – Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Institute

I am the only practicing medical oncologist, along with a nurse practitioner and physician assistant at a large, underserved/uninsured clinic/infusion center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana which has an approximate monthly patient volume of 300 individuals. Patients at the clinic typically present with advanced stages of cancer and have little or poor understanding of the conditions that have led to the development of their cancer. I also serve as the Medical Director for Oncology Research at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I am the lead investigator for Our Lady of the Lake Hospital’s participation in clinical research studies within the Gulf South Minority/Underserved NCORP. I also serve as principal investigator on industry sponsored and Investigator Initiated trials for the Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Institute.
